Rice & Grains Packaging Bags
Rice bags are bought twice: once by the mill or exporter who fills them, and once by the shopper who picks them off a shelf. A 50kg export sack has to survive a container and a stevedore, while a 5kg retail pack has to look like it belongs next to an international brand. We produce both, on the same lines, with the same quality control.

How we approach rice bags
For export rice the standard construction is a gusseted PP woven bag at 70 to 90 gsm, printed in two or three colours, usually with a PE liner for moisture protection on long routes. For retail packs from 1kg to 10kg, a BOPP laminated bag with a die-cut handle and a block bottom gives the shelf presence modern rice brands need, and holds photographic artwork on a flat face.
What to consider before you order
- Long sea transit and humid destinations make a liner worth paying for.
- Retail packs need BOPP lamination, a handle and a block bottom to sell.
- A 50kg sack needs a fabric weight and stitch pattern tested for the load.
- Origin and variety printing is usually a regulatory requirement, not a design choice.
- Print cylinders can run several pack sizes, which keeps artwork cost down.

What bag do you recommend for 50kg export rice?

Can you produce 5kg retail rice bags with my artwork?
