Fertiliser Packaging Bags
Fertiliser is dense, often hygroscopic, frequently corrosive to print, and it is usually filled at high speed into heavy bags. The bag has to take a tonne of stacking pressure, keep the product dry enough to spread, and still carry a brand that farmers recognise in a shed.

How we approach fertiliser bags
NPK blends and urea attract moisture, so for humid destinations we recommend an inside laminated or BOPP laminated fabric with a PE liner, and we check the print system against the salt content of the product. For micronutrient and specialty fertiliser blends at retail, a BOPP laminated bag with a block bottom gives the shelf presence these products now need.
What to consider before you order
- Is the product hygroscopic? Moisture control decides the liner, not the price list.
- Will the filled bags sit in the sun for months? Specify UV stabilised fabric and print.
- Compost and potting mix need to release moisture, not trap it.
- High density requires a heavier fabric and a construction that distributes load from the loops.
- Corrosive salts can attack some inks; check the print system with us.

FAQ
Will your bags stop fertiliser caking in a humid climate?
A PE liner or inside lamination reduces moisture ingress substantially and is the normal answer for humid destinations. For highly hygroscopic products in long transit we also discuss desiccant and container configuration. Set your expectations by telling us the route and the storage conditions, and we will tell you what a barrier can and cannot do.
Do you produce small retail fertiliser packs?
Yes. Retail packs of 5kg to 10kg with die-cut handles, BOPP lamination, block bottom and up to 8 colour printing are a common line for us. The same cylinders can run several pack sizes to keep artwork cost down.
