Animal Feed Packaging Bags
Feed bags have to do three jobs at once: carry 25kg or 50kg of dense pellets without splitting, survive a rough trip through a mill and a farm, and show a brand clearly to the customer who buys every month. We produce printed PP woven feed bags and multi-layer paper feed sacks for poultry, dairy, livestock, pig and aquaculture feed.

How we approach animal feed bags
Feed is heavier and more abrasive than most powders, and it is often stacked high and moved by hand. That points towards a stronger fabric weight, a gusseted construction so the bag stacks as a block, and stitching that will not pull out under load. Where the feed is high in oil or fat, we add a grease resistant or PE liner.
What to consider before you order
- Pellets need to breathe slightly; sealing them wet creates mould.
- Oily or high-fat feed needs a grease resistant or PE liner.
- High stacking and long storage argue for anti-slip weave and a heavier fabric.
- Mill customers often run an automatic filling line: check whether a valve closure fits.
- Retail feed brands benefit from BOPP lamination and a block bottom for shelf presence.

FAQ
What fabric weight do you recommend for 50kg feed bags?
For a 50kg bag of pellet feed we usually recommend 90 to 110 gsm with a gusseted construction, and anti-slip weave if the pallets are stacked more than four high. Lighter fabric will work in the short term but the failure points appear at the seams and at the gusset fold after repeated handling. Tell us the fill weight and how the bags are stored and we will specify it precisely.
Can you print my feed brand in full colour on both sides?
Yes. Up to 8 colours by flexo printing on standard woven fabric, or rotogravure on BOPP laminated bags if your artwork contains photographs or fine detail. We send a digital proof showing the bag layout and seam positions before any cylinder is made.
